Profiles open up in new windows

When I click on someone's profile fro the main user bar at the top, it pops up in a new window. I honestly don't like this behavior. Any way to fix this?

perhaps you should talk to the admins

I don't mind it, but when it does open in a new window, it does say "If you wanna view this user's complete profile, please log in." I usually just type http://www.zonebbs.com/viewuser.php?viewuser=(insert username or user ID here), and it stays in the same window...

That's interesting. It shouldn't do that. Are you using IE or some other browser?

i really like the new feature. especially now that quick notes have been removed from the new window too. it means that you can spend as long as you wish viewing the profile while at the same time keeping right up too date with the chat. had the quick notes been left in the profile window then i'd have been indifferent to the change but as things currently work i really like the new system.

You will note, however, that once you click any link in the new window, it begins to behave as a standard zone bbs browser window would (qith quicknotes, etc).
This probably can't be helped, but it'd be nice if these pages could be isolated.
